Exports that come to you — and a calmer catalog
Some of you are running catalogs in the tens of thousands of products, and "export everything to CSV" was quietly asking a lot — of your browser and your patience. This release fixes that properly, then rounds it out with a handful of smaller changes that make managing your catalog feel a bit more considered.
Big exports now just show up in your inbox
Exporting a large catalog used to mean staring at a spinner with a browser tab you couldn't close — and past a few thousand products, it could give up entirely.
Now, when an export is large, Fulify builds it in the background and emails you a download link the moment it's ready. Kick it off, close the tab, get on with your day. You'll also find a Recent exports list right on the Export page — every file you've generated, with one-click downloads, in case you lose the email or want it again. Links stay live for 7 days.
Smaller and filtered exports still download instantly, exactly as before — nothing to relearn. It's the same pattern you'll know from Shopify and Akeneo; it's just how exports should work at scale.
See what a product is filed under, at a glance
Assigning a product to categories meant scrolling the checkbox tree to remember what you'd already ticked. Now the categories a product belongs to appear as removable chips right under the picker — see everything that's assigned, and clear any of them with a single click. Hover a chip and you'll get its full path (e.g. Display Furniture › Aura Furniture), so two categories with the same name are never a guessing game.
A tidier Brands & Categories list
A few small things that add up to a screen that's easier to scan:
- Every category row now shows a visibility icon consistently — a solid eye when it's visible, a faded one when it's hidden — rather than the icon only turning up on hidden rows.
- Product counts, visibility, and channel badges now line up in proper columns. A row with no channel assignment used to nudge the product count out of place; now everything stays put, top to bottom.
Your Shopify collection sync is future-proofed
This one's under the hood, but worth knowing about. Shopify is retiring the older API that our category → collection sync relied on. We've moved it over to Shopify's current model well ahead of that deadline — and verified it end-to-end against a live store — so your smart collections keep syncing exactly as they do today. No scramble, no surprises, when Shopify eventually flips the switch.
