Decide exactly what Fulify writes to Linnworks — and which products go at all

v4.0.82 – 4.0.102NewImprovedFixed

Most merchants running an OMS don't want the PIM owning everything in it. This release makes that explicit rather than assumed.

Choose which fields Fulify writes

Settings → Apps → Linnworks now has a per-field mapping: barcode, weight, dimensions, images, retail price and the rest, each individually on or off. If Linnworks owns your barcodes, turn barcodes off and Fulify won't touch them.

SKU and product title stay locked on. They're how the two systems recognise the same product — turning them off wouldn't be a preference, it would break the matching.

Choose which products go

A per-product "Sync to Linnworks" toggle in the editor, with a bulk toggle for the list. Not every product in your catalogue belongs in the warehouse system, and now you can say so — one at a time or a thousand at a time.

Push on save

Save a product that's opted in, and it goes to Linnworks. No waiting for a scheduled run to notice.

Fixes — and one that could have cost you data

  • Omitting a field was destroying it. Linnworks' update call is not a partial patch: any field left out is reset, not left alone. Since barcode and weight are off by default, the first run with default settings would have wiped scannable barcodes across the catalogue. Fulify now reads the current values and preserves anything it isn't writing. This was caught by a read-after-write test against the live API, before it reached anyone.
  • Re-credentialling was wiping your per-product opt-ins. Reconnecting Linnworks reset which products were meant to sync. It no longer does.
  • The image check was reading the wrong id, so it silently concluded there were no images and re-uploaded them every run.
  • "From Library" was showing an empty picker — every previously uploaded asset was being dropped before it reached the screen.
  • "Save settings" was unreachable once an app was installed.
  • The install token survived Cancel, so a token you'd backed out of was still sitting in the field.
  • Variant titles had untrimmed option labels, producing names with stray spacing.

Smaller things

  • New products start with nothing switched on. Creating a product no longer opts it into syncing anywhere by default — you decide.
  • Sync is no longer presented as a storefront setting. It's a different decision and now sits apart from Show on Storefront.
