Install the Linnworks app
Linnworks is an order and warehouse management system. Installing the Linnworks app lets Fulify create and update stock items in Linnworks from your catalog, so the warehouse has a product as soon as it exists in Fulify, even before the imagery and descriptions are finished.
Linnworks is an app, not a sales channel. It doesn't sell anything, so it doesn't count against your plan's channel limit, and you manage it under Settings → Apps rather than Settings → Channels.
What Fulify sends, and what it never touches
Read this before you start.
| Fulify can send to Linnworks | Fulify never touches |
|---|---|
| SKU and title (always) | Stock levels and quantities |
| Barcode, weight, dimensions (if you switch them on) | Purchase orders |
| Cost price and retail price (if you switch them on) | Suppliers, bins and locations |
| Brand and images (if you switch them on) | Anything you've switched off |
Fulify never sends stock quantities. Linnworks owns physical inventory and pushes it to your sales channels itself. Fulify owns product content and pushes that to Linnworks.
Nothing is written back into Fulify. Changes you make in Linnworks stay in Linnworks. Product data only enters Fulify when someone edits it, from a CSV import, or through the Fulify API.

Before you start
You need:
- A Growth plan or higher. Linnworks isn't available on Starter. Organizations on a free trial can use it.
- Organization owner access in Fulify. Only owners can install, configure or remove apps. Other members see the card, but the buttons are disabled.
- Admin access to your Linnworks account, so you can authorize an application.
Step 1: Authorize the Fulify application in Linnworks
Fulify is a Linnworks System Integration application. You install it from an installation URL that Fulify support gives you. It isn't listed in the Linnworks app store, so there's nothing to search for.
- Ask Fulify support for your installation URL.
- Open it while signed in to Linnworks, and authorize the application for the account you want to connect.
- When it finishes, Linnworks issues an install token, a long string unique to your account. Copy it for the next step.
Step 2: Install the app in Fulify
- In Fulify, go to Settings → Apps (
/settings/apps). - Find the Linnworks card and click Install.
- Fill in the form:
- Account name: a label for this Linnworks account inside Fulify, for example Main warehouse. It's for your reference only.
- Install token: paste the token from Step 1.
- Click Install Linnworks.
The card now shows Installed.
Step 3: Test the connection
On the Linnworks card, click Test connection. Fulify signs in to Linnworks with your token and reports one of these:
- Connected to Linnworks: you're ready.
- Linnworks rejected these credentials. Check the install token, then reinstall. The token is wrong, expired or from a different account. Copy it again from Linnworks, then click Settings on the card, choose Replace next to Connection, and paste it in.
- Linnworks is not responding right now. Your credentials were not changed - try again shortly. This is a temporary problem on the Linnworks side.
Test the connection before you sync anything. If the connection itself fails, there's no point troubleshooting a product.
Step 4: Choose which fields Fulify writes
Click Settings on the Linnworks card. Under Field mapping you decide which fields Fulify owns. Write SKU and Write product title are always on. Everything else is off by default, so a new install only creates and names stock items until you switch more on.
You can also set a Variant title separator here. See How the Linnworks integration works for what each setting does.
Click Save settings when you're done. You don't need to re-enter your install token to change settings.
Step 5: Choose which products go to Linnworks
Products don't go to Linnworks just because the app is installed. Each product has its own opt-in, and it's off by default.
For one product:
- Open the product and go to Visibility & Status.
- Make sure Sync is on. It's the master switch: with it off, the product reaches no channel and no app.
- Under Apps, switch on Sync to Linnworks.
If the product's Channel Sync is also on, Fulify pushes it straight away, and its stock item appears in Linnworks, matched by SKU. With Channel Sync off, click Sync on the product to push it.
For many products:
- On the Products list, select the products.
- In the bulk bar, click Channel to open Channel & App Assignments.
- Switch on Linnworks.
Fulify queues a background run that sends every selected product with Sync on and a SKU.
To push everything that's already opted in, use Sync all products under Sync whole catalogue on the Linnworks card. It runs in the background, so you can leave the page.
Troubleshooting
Nothing appears in Linnworks. Check these in order:
- The product's Sync switch is on.
- Sync to Linnworks is on for that product.
- The product has a SKU.
- The Linnworks card shows Installed, not Paused.
- Test connection passes.
- If you saved the product or opted it in from the editor, its Channel Sync is on. If not, click Sync on the product instead.
The Sync status panel on the Linnworks card lists products that aren't in Linnworks and why, under products not in Linnworks.
The card says Paused. Your plan no longer covers the app, for example after a downgrade to Starter, an expired trial or a failed payment. Your install token and settings are kept, and the app resumes on its own once billing is sorted. Go to Billing.
The Install button is greyed out. Either you're not an organization owner, or your plan is below Growth. The card says which.
A product synced, but some variants didn't. Each variant needs its own SKU. A variant with a blank SKU has nothing to match on, and the product's status says how many variants were skipped.
Replacing the install token
If you reconnect with a new token, for example after re-authorizing in Linnworks, click Settings, then Replace next to Connection. Fulify forgets which stock items it had linked and finds them again by SKU on the next sync, so nothing is duplicated. Your per-product opt-ins are kept.
Uninstalling
Go to Settings → Apps → Linnworks and click Uninstall. When you uninstall:
- Your install token is deleted and products stop syncing to Linnworks immediately.
- Stock items already in Linnworks are left exactly as they are. Fulify never deletes anything in Linnworks.
- The link between your Fulify SKUs and their stock items is kept, so if you reinstall later Fulify updates the same items instead of creating a second copy of your catalog.
You need your install token again to reinstall, so don't uninstall just to pause syncing. To stop one product syncing, switch off its Sync to Linnworks toggle instead.
