ShipperHQ
If you use ShipperHQ for shipping rates on BigCommerce, the ShipperHQ app lets you manage its product settings in Fulify instead of entering them product by product. You build reusable shipping profiles (ShipperHQ shipping groups, origins and dimensional rules), assign them to products, brands or categories, and Fulify writes the values to the ShipperHQ fields on BigCommerce whenever a product syncs.
The app needs no credentials of its own. It uses your existing BigCommerce channel connection.
Before you start
- A Growth plan or higher. Organizations on a free trial can use it.
- Organization owner access in Fulify to install or remove the app.
- A connected BigCommerce channel with ShipperHQ set up on the store.
Install the app
- Go to Settings → Apps (
/settings/apps). - On the ShipperHQ card, click Install.
- Click Install ShipperHQ. There's nothing to fill in.
The card shows Installed, and a Shipping Profiles (ShipperHQ) tile appears in Settings. The tile is only shown while the app is installed.
Create shipping profiles
- Go to Settings → Shipping Profiles (
/settings/shipping-profiles). - Click New Profile.
- Enter a name, for example Freight / Oversized, and an optional description.
- Fill in Shipping Groups, Origins and Dimensional Rules as comma-separated lists, for example
pallet, freight. Use the same names you set up in ShipperHQ. - Save the profile.
Deleting a profile detaches it from the products, brands and categories that use it. It doesn't delete them.
Assign profiles
You can assign a profile at three levels. The most specific one wins:
- Product: the Shipping Profile (ShipperHQ) field in the product editor. Choose None - leave ShipperHQ data untouched to leave the product to whatever is set in BigCommerce.
- Brand: Default Shipping Profile (ShipperHQ) in the brand editor. Products of that brand inherit it when they have no profile of their own.
- Category: Default Shipping Profile (ShipperHQ) in the category editor. Products in that category inherit it when neither the product nor its brand sets one.
To assign a profile to many products at once, select them on the Products list and use More → Shipping profile in the bulk bar.
What happens when a product syncs
When a product with a profile (its own or inherited) syncs to BigCommerce, Fulify writes the shipping groups, origins and dimensional rules to the ShipperHQ fields on that product. If you clear a value in the profile, Fulify removes it from BigCommerce on the next sync, so stale groups don't linger.
Products with no profile at any level are left alone, so anything you manage directly in BigCommerce stays as it is.
Uninstalling
Go to Settings → Apps → ShipperHQ and click Uninstall. Fulify stops pushing shipping profile values to your channels. Your profiles and their assignments are kept, so reinstalling turns the push back on straight away. Values already on BigCommerce are left as they are.
If your plan stops covering the app, it shows Paused and stops pushing until billing is back in order. Nothing is lost.
