Add a channel
Connect a BigCommerce or Shopify store so Fulify can sync your catalog to it. Fulify checks the connection before saving anything: if the store rejects your credentials, you'll see an error and no channel is created.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Sales Channels (/settings/channels) and click Add Channel. The Add Sales Channel window opens.
Common fields
- Platform: choose BigCommerce or Shopify.
- Channel Name: optional. Leave it blank to use the store's own name from your platform. You can rename the channel at any time.
Connect a BigCommerce store
- Set Platform to BigCommerce.
- Enter your Store Hash. It's in your BigCommerce API path (
stores/{hash}), and in your store's admin addressstore-{hash}.mybigcommerce.com. - Enter your Access Token.
- Click Connect.
Getting your BigCommerce credentials
- In your BigCommerce admin, go to Settings → API → Store-level API accounts and create an API account.
- Give it these OAuth scopes:
- Products: modify
- Channel Settings: read-only
- Information & Settings: read-only
- Metafields Access: the standard level
- Save, then copy the Access Token and the store hash from the API path into Fulify.
Connect a Shopify store
- Set Platform to Shopify.
- Enter your Shop Domain, for example
my-store.myshopify.com. - Click Connect with Shopify. You're sent to Shopify to authorize Fulify, then returned to Fulify with the store connected. There's no token to copy.
If Shopify can't complete the connection, Fulify shows the reason when you come back, for example that the domain isn't a valid myshopify.com address or that the authorization link expired. Start again from Add Channel.
Legacy access token
If you have an older Shopify custom app, click Use a legacy access token instead, paste the Admin API Access Token (it starts with shpat_) and click Connect. Shopify no longer offers these tokens for new stores, so use Connect with Shopify if you can. To switch back, click Connect with Shopify (OAuth) instead.
Adding a store you've connected before
Each real store is one channel in Fulify. If you add a store your organization already has:
- If it's still connected, its credentials are updated and you'll see "was already connected. Its API token has been updated."
- If it was disconnected, it's reconnected with its products, categories and brands as they were.
Either way, you don't end up with a second, empty copy of the same store.
After you connect
- Import the store's existing catalog, brands and categories from Settings → Import if you're starting from what's already on the store.
- Set any per-channel currency, measurement system or scheduling timezone from the channel's Settings. See Manage channels.
- Assign brands, categories and products to the channel, then sync. See Sync products to a channel.
Your plan includes a set number of sales channels. You can see how many you're using under Settings → Billing.
