Product history
Every product in Fulify keeps a history of its changes. For each change you can see who made it, what the field was before and after, and when it happened. Use it to answer questions like "who changed this price?" or "what did that import actually update?".
Open a product's history
- Open the product in the editor.
- Click History in the bar at the top of the page.
The Change History window shows a timeline of up to the 300 most recent changes, newest first.
History is available once a product has been created. A product with no recorded changes yet shows "No changes recorded yet", and edits from then on appear in the timeline.
Reading the timeline
Each entry shows:
- Who: the person's email address, or the import or API key that made the change.
- Where it came from: a label showing the source of the change.
- What changed: the field name, with the old value and the new value side by side.
- When: a relative time such as "5 mins ago". Hover over it to see the exact date and time.
When a product is first created, the timeline shows a single "created this record" entry rather than listing every field.
Where changes come from
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| User | Someone saved a change in Fulify, for example in the product editor or with a bulk price change. |
| Import | The change came from a CSV import. The entry can include the name of the imported file. |
| API key | Another system changed the product through the Fulify API. |
| System | Fulify made the change itself. |
Bulk price changes add one entry to each product they touch, and so does undoing one. See Change prices in bulk.
