Products overview
Products are at the heart of Fulify. A product record holds everything about an item in your catalog, from basics like name and SKU, through media, pricing and variants, to attributes, feed data and compliance details. You enrich it once in Fulify and sync it to every channel it's assigned to.
The same product can be assigned to more than one channel. For example, one product can sync to both a BigCommerce store and a Shopify store, with channel-specific overrides where the two need to differ.
What's in a product
Each product is organized into sections in the product editor:
- Basic Information: name, SKU, brand, product type, condition, weight and dimensions, and custom fields.
- Categories: where the product sits in your category tree.
- Visibility & Status: whether the product syncs at all, whether it shows on your storefront, availability and scheduling.
- Content: subtitle, short description, full description and product highlights.
- Media: images, videos and documents such as manuals or spec sheets.
- Pricing & Codes: base, sale, retail and cost prices, plus UPC, MPN and GTIN.
- Inventory & Stock: inventory tracking, order quantity limits, country of origin, tax, unit pricing and warranty.
- Search Marketing & Social: SEO fields, product feed settings for Google Merchant Center, and Open Graph.
- Shipping: free or fixed shipping, package dimensions, handling time, shipping labels, and shipping and returns information.
- Options & Variants: sizes, colors and other options, and the variants generated from them.
- Attributes: structured data from an attribute template, plus your own custom attributes.
- Customs & Compliance: HS codes and US safety compliance (CPSC) details.
- Merchandising: related products, collections, selection guides, badges, features and FAQs.
- Custom Sections: extra tabs for your product pages.
See Edit a product for a tour of every section.
The Products list
Click Products in the top navigation bar to open the list. This is your catalog home base: search, filter, check quality and act on one product or many at once.
At the top right are Import CSV and Add Product.
Summary tiles
Three tiles count your whole catalog, not just the current page:
- Total Products: every product in your catalog.
- Visible: products set to show on the storefront.
- Synced: products that have synced successfully.
Search
Type in the search box and press Enter. Fulify searches product name, SKU and brand. Every word you type must appear somewhere, in any order, and punctuation doesn't matter, so heavy duty also finds "Heavy-Duty". Clear the box and press Enter to see everything again.
Filters
Click Filters to narrow the list. A badge on the button shows how many filters are active, and Clear resets them.
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Product Type | Physical or Digital |
| Availability | Available, Disabled or Preorder |
| Inventory | Tracked (Any), Product Level, Variant Level, Not Tracked, or Doesn't Match Variants |
| Visibility | Visible or Hidden |
| Sync Status | Synced, Pending, Has an error, or Not Synced |
| Sync Setting | Sync Enabled or Sync Disabled (the product's Channel Sync switch) |
| Brand | Searchable list of your brands |
| Category | Searchable list of your categories, shown as a hierarchy |
| Attribute | Values your products actually carry for drop-down attributes, with a count for each |
| Schedule Status | Active, Scheduled, Expired or Hidden |
| Quality | Needs work (under 50), Good (50 to 79), or Excellent (80 and above) |
The Attribute filter is a quick way to select a precise group of products, such as every product with Sale Season: AW26 Q3. Each value shows how many products carry it before you filter. It appears only when your products use drop-down attributes from an attribute template.
The Doesn't Match Variants inventory filter finds products whose inventory tracking doesn't fit their shape, for example a product with sizes that tracks stock at product level. See Variants and options.
Reading a product row
Each row shows:
- Product: thumbnail, name (click it to open the editor) and the categories it's in.
- SKU / Brand.
- Storefront: a switch to show or hide the product on your storefront.
- Quality: the product's quality score as a percentage.
- Channel Sync: the product's Channel Sync switch plus a status dot for each channel. If a sync failed, the reason is shown underneath. A note also appears if the product's master Sync is off ("nothing will be sent") or if Channel Sync is off.
- Actions: Duplicate, Quick edit (when you've set up Quick Access fields), Edit, Sync to Channel and Delete.
Sorting and pages
Click the Product, SKU / Brand, Quality or Channel Sync column headers to sort the whole catalog, not just the current page. By default the newest products come first. Sorting by Quality is a fast way to find the products that need the most work.
Use the controls at the bottom to move between pages and to show 25, 50, 100 or 200 products per page.
The quality score
Every product gets a quality score from 0 to 100 that measures how complete its data is. Each check carries a weight, with the essentials counting most:
- Most important: product name, at least one category, and a thumbnail image.
- Important: a description of 50 or more characters, a base price, a SKU and a brand.
- Good to have: SEO page title, meta description, search keywords, and two or more images.
- Finishing touches: weight, dimensions, a custom URL, warranty information, a product video, a UPC, GTIN or MPN, and product highlights.
Scores fall into four tiers: poor (under 25), fair (25 to 49), good (50 to 79) and excellent (80 and above). In the product editor, the Quality widget lists exactly what's missing.
Quick edit
If you've chosen Quick Access Fields in Settings, each row gets a Quick edit action that opens just those fields for fast changes, with a link to Open Full Editor. See Quick Access fields.
Bulk actions
Tick the checkbox on one or more rows (or the header checkbox to select the whole page) and a bulk action bar appears at the bottom of the screen:
- Visible and Hidden: show or hide the selected products on your storefront.
- Sync On and Sync Off: turn Channel Sync on or off for the selected products.
- Sync: push the selected products to their assigned channels now.
- Channel: open Channel & App Assignments to assign the products to channels or connected apps, or remove them.
- Categories: add the selected products to categories, or remove them.
- More: assign a Brand, Shipping profile, Shipping text template, Returns text template, Warranty text template, FAQ template, Customs template, Tax category, Classification or Google product category, or use Change prices….
- Delete: delete the selected products.
Assignments made from More are saved in Fulify. Sync afterwards to push them to your channels.
To change prices for many products at once, see Change prices in bulk.
