Attribute templates
Attribute templates let you define a reusable set of structured fields for a product type. For example, a Wine template might have Region, Vintage and Grape, and an Electronics template might have Voltage and Warranty. Once a template exists, you apply it to products in the product editor's Attributes section instead of re-creating the same fields every time.
Attribute templates need a plan that includes them (Growth or higher).
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Attribute Templates, or open /settings/attribute-templates.
System templates
System Templates ship with Fulify and are read-only. For each one you can:
- Use the switch to activate it, so it can be used on your products, or deactivate it.
- Click View Fields to see its fields.
- Click Clone to make an editable copy under Your Templates.
Create your own template
- Click Create Template.
- Fill in:
- Name — the product type, for example "Wine" or "Electronics".
- Description — optional.
- Sync Target — where the attributes are written on your channel. Metafields are structured data, not visible on the storefront by default. Custom Fields are simple name and value pairs, visible on the storefront.
- Click Create.
Your templates appear under Your Templates. Each one can be edited, cloned or deleted, and expands so you can manage its groups and fields.
Organize fields into groups
Groups keep related fields together, for example "Paper Info" and "Ink Info".
- Expand your template and click Add Group.
- Enter a Group Name, a Sort Order and an optional description.
- Click Add.
Add fields
- Expand your template and click Add Field.
- Fill in:
- Field Name — the attribute's label, for example "Region" or "Material".
- Type — Text, Number, Single Select, Multi Select, Boolean, Date, Textarea, URL, Email or Color.
- Group — the group it belongs to, or No group (ungrouped). Only shown once the template has groups.
- Options — for Single Select and Multi Select, the choices, one per line.
- Required — tick to make the field mandatory.
- Sort Order — the field's position.
- Click Add.
Attribute values you fill in on products can also be used to filter the Products list.
