General settings
The Organization Preferences page holds the defaults that apply across every product and export in your catalog. Set these once and the rest of Fulify follows them. They apply to everyone in your organization.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → General, or open /settings/general.
Set your defaults
- Go to Settings → General.
- Change the fields described below.
- Click Save Preferences. A Saved! confirmation appears when the change is stored.
If your preferences can't be loaded, the page shows an error with a retry option and the save button stays disabled. This stops Fulify from saving default values over your real settings.
Field reference
- Currency — the currency your prices are entered and displayed in.
- Units — the units you enter product weights and dimensions in. Choose one of:
- Metric: grams, cm
- Metric: kilograms, cm
- Imperial: pounds, inches
- Imperial: ounces, inches
- Scheduling Timezone — the timezone used for a product's publish and end dates, so scheduled changes happen when you expect.
- Language — the language the Fulify interface is shown in: English, Italian, Spanish, French or German.
- Pricing Management — a switch that controls whether prices are edited and synced from Fulify.
Choose the right units
Fulify sends weights and dimensions to your channels as you entered them, so Units must match the weight unit your sales channel uses. For example, a BigCommerce store set to grams needs Metric: grams, cm here. Product editor labels follow this setting, so the weight field shows the unit you picked.
If Units doesn't match your channel, every product's weight will be wrong on the storefront. Check your store's settings before you change this.
Pricing Management
When Pricing Management is on, you edit prices in Fulify and they sync to your channels as normal.
Turn it off when an external system, such as an ERP, owns your prices. With it off:
- Price fields become read-only after a product is created.
- Fulify doesn't sync prices to your channels.
